Hello, my name is Gus, and I am the founder of Compass Concierge Nursing. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our practice.

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Nursing. I have spent the majority of my nursing career in critical care, emergency, and surgical settings, caring for patients with complex and evolving medical needs. I have had the privilege to travel and work in leading academic medical centers nationwide, refining my clinical judgment and strengthening my ability to support patients and families through uncertainty.

After years of bedside nursing across multiple specialties and healthcare systems, I kept noticing the same challenge: families navigating complex health conditions between multiple providers, managing medication changes after every appointment, and feeling completely lost in a fragmented system that wasn’t designed for coordination.

I founded Compass to bridge the gap.
